International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Event
Living with HIV/AIDS
Global Health TV profiles people living with HIV/AIDS in South Africa and the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Event. The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is one of the oldest and largest grassroots HIV/AIDS events in the world. More than 2000 Candlelight Memorial programs were held in 115 countries on May 20th, 2007. The Global Health Council is expanding its support for grassroots community leaders--the Candlelight coordinators--so they can become even more effective advocates for fighting HIV/AIDS every day in their communities.
