Women Deliver 2010

Women Deliver 2010, the leading event for maternal and reproductive health, will be held in Washington DC on June 7-9th, 2010. Global Health TV is sending a team there to cover the conference. We'll be producing a daily television show and bringing you all the news as it happens, including interviews with decision-makers and celebrities.
The theme of the conference is: "Delivering solutions for girls and women," and aims to make these issues a global priority. Richard Horton, Editor of the Lancet will be chairing sessions. Ahead of the conference he tells Global Health TV why he thinks maternal health has become a fashionable issue - and how those in the field have an opportunity to make real change.
