Deliver Now for Women and Children

Launching a radical new initiative

On September 26th, the Prime Minister of Norway announced the Global Campaign for the Health Millennium Development Goals, which includes the Deliver Now for Women & Children initiative. The organizers hope that this unprecedented mobilization will bring the public attention and investments needed to avert the needless deaths of millions of women and children and make sure that Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 will be met by 2015. Global Health TV talks with Arletty Pinel from the United Nations Population Fund just before Deliver Now was publicly launched.
