India eye care facility breaks down barriers - Aravind Eye Care System

Aravind Eye Care System, established as an alternate health care model in India more than thirty years ago, has won the Gates Award for Global Health 2008. The prestigious award was presented to Dr. P Namperumalsamy, Aravind's Chairman, at the 35th International Conference on Global Health in Washington D.C. Global Health TV caught up with Dr. Namperumalsamy to find out more about Aravind's important work.
