The Gates Award for Global Health has been giving a million dollar prize to outstanding global health organizations for a decade. The high-profile award brings worldwide attention to its recipients. In 2005 African health development organization AMREF won the award. Peter Ngatia talks with Global Health TV’s Chris Warner about what winning the award meant to AMREF and what they have achieved since then.
