Development Assistance in Family Planning Programs
USAID Office of Population and Reproductive Health
USAID is the acknowledged leader in implementing the U.S. global population program and have been offering development assistance in family planning programs since 1965. Since the launch of their program families are better able to feed, clothe, educate and provide health care for their children. Global Health TV visited Kenya's Eastern Province to see one of USAIDS success stories, a Jhpiego affiliated program targeting new moms.
