Global Health TV shows that there is hope for a brighter, healthier future.
Global Health Diplomacy
The Graduate Institute, Geneva
The interface between health and foreign policy is increasing. Diplomats are more involved in health issues and health experts have become more concerned with foreign policy. An increasing number of other factors influence and participate in global health negotiations, both formally and informally. This calls for new diplomatic processes with increased transparency and accountability, which provide support to countries with a poor level of knowledge and diplomatic skills. The term "global health diplomacy" aims to capture the system and the method for reaching compromise and consensus in matters pertaining to health in the crowded global arena. Global Health TV reports from the World Health Assembly.
