Helping Communities Access Treatments
Merck Serono
As well as producing safe and effective drugs, Merck Serono also contributes to helping people in need to gain access to treatments. They take two complementary approaches: addressing current needs, for example through drug donation programmes against schistosomiasis, and a long-term, more sustainable approach in the form of research & development programmes for new treatments for tropical diseases, including malaria.
