Strength in numbers
We spoke to Nestor Moyo, Senior Midwifery Advisor at the International Confederation of Midwives, about the importance of establishing and strengthening midwives associations around the world and the challenges she faced in setting them up. The ability to consult with other midwives within a central organization has proved pivotal to continuous improvements in the quality of midwifery services.
