Health workers take support to hard-to-reach people in South Africa
When women who are HIV positive fall pregnant they have a lot of concerns, including worries about passing on the virus to their child. Global Health TV's Shannon Kenny travels into rural KwaZulu-Natal, the poorest province in South Africa, to meet a team of community health workers doing remarkable work, offering advice and support to entire families affected by HIV and AIDS, and showing that there is hope for the future.
