Jennifer Palmer form the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine discusses her research into African sleeping sickness in post-conflict southern Sudan. 1% of the population of southern Sudan suffers from sleeping sickness. These people will die in the next three years if they do not receive treatment for the disease.
