Dr Mickey Chopra, Chief of Health, UNICEF
Health equity was the theme of this year's Don and Elizabeth Hillman lecture at the Canadian Conference on Global Health. The lecture, delivered by Dr Mickey Chopra of UNICEF, focuses on new data in mother and child health - revealing that in the world's poorest countries there's a sizeable gap between the health outcomes of the rich and poor. Dr Chopra explains how disparities like these can best be addressed.
