Supporting Independent Immunization and Vaccine Advisory Committees
AMP - L'Agence de Medecine Preventive
In January, the Ivory Coast launched the "Ivory Coast National Committee of Independent Experts for Vaccination and Vaccines" - making it the first GAVI-eligible country in sub-Saharan Africa to set up a National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG). The committee was established with the support of the SIVAC initiative, implemented by AMP in partnership with the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). Global health TV reports from their first meeting.
