Global Health TV's Toni Kamau talks to Debbie Birx of the Global AIDS Program, as health experts from around the world meet in Kigali, Rwanda to launch a laboratory accreditation programme for sub-Saharan Africa. Birx tells us why she thinks the accreditation programme will bring new standards of quality to African labs. We ask her why its crucial that lab testing in resource-poor countries is lifted to international standards.
